The Next Generation Jazz Festival takes place at the Monterey Conference Center in downtown Monterey, 1 Portola Plaza, Monterey, CA 93940.
BY CAR OR BUS:
Monterey is easily accessible via Highway 1. Parking is available in the City of Monterey's parking structure, one block from the Conference Center. Buses may drop off their students directly in front of the conference center.
San Francisco International Airport is two hours from Monterey.
San Jose International Airport is 1.5 hours from Monterey. Monterey Peninsula Airport is 10 minutes from downtown and offers a limited selection of regional flights.
We strongly recommend that you stay in downtown Monterey where you will be walking distance to the Conference Center as well as the city’s many restaurants and attractions. March is a busy time for tourists here, so we recommend booking your hotel rooms early.
