In 2006, Berklee College of Music and the Monterey Jazz Festival celebrated ten years of partnership, including the presentation of the Jimmy Lyons full-tuition scholarship to Berklee, and performances by the Berklee-Monterey Quartet. The 2007 Berklee-Monterey Quartet includes Mika Nishimura ('08), piano and leader; Jeff Miles ('08), guitar; Ryo Shibata ('08), drums; and Katie Thiroux ('09), bass. On Saturday night, September 22, 2007, Berklee will honor MJF Board member, Clint Eastwood.
