The 54th Monterey Jazz Festival is just FIVE weeks away with an exciting and diverse lineup of world-class artists on the Jimmy Lyons Stage in the Arena and on 7 Grounds Stages!

With Single Day Arena Tickets, you can enjoy a reserved seat in the Arena for the day you select with 7 additional Grounds Stages of nonstop jazz entertainment!

Only $66 for Friday, which features all Arena concerts plus all Grounds Stages -- including Arena performances by Poncho Sanchez & his Latin Jazz Band featuring Terence Blanchard, the John Pizzarelli Quartet with special guests Jessica Molaskey & Bucky Pizzarelli and Hiromi: The Trio Project featuring Anthony Jackson & Simon Phillips. 

Your Friday ticket also includes Grounds Stage performances by Richard Bona & Raul Midón: The Duwala Malambo Project, Hiromi: The Trio Project featuring Anthony Jackson & Simon Phillips, Robert Glasper Trio,  Juan-Carlos Formell: Johnny’s Dream Club, Helen Sung Trio, Carmen Souza, John Santos Sextet with special guest Rico Pabón: Filosofia Caribeña, Erik Telford Collective,  Berklee Flamenco from the Berklee College of Music, and a screening of the film Cachao: Uno Mas!

Come celebrate with the Monterey Jazz Festival as we honor four-time Grammy Award-winning jazz trumpeter and composer, Terence Blanchard at the 2011 Jazz Legends Gala! This exclusive event takes place on Thursday, September 15 at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa in Monterey. The evening includes a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner and entertainment featuring the Grammy-winning pianist, Hiromi, and special guests, Clint and Dina Eastwood. Create an unforgettable Monterey experience by staying on the Fairgrounds in your own RV for the Jazz Festival Weekend, a substantial savings from staying at a hotel! Three or 4-night stays are available in a location behind the Arena – close to all the music, all the food, all the excitement! Spaces have electricity, water, and sewer available. MONTEREY COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL HONOR BANDS PERFORM AT THE SAN JOSE JAZZ FESTIVAL AND JAZZ ON THE PLAZZ!

Come see Monterey’s Jazz Education Programs in action! The Monterey County High School All-Star Band will perform at the San Jose Jazz Festival on Saturday, August 13 at 6:00pm on the Next Gen Stage at the Tech Museum, and the Monterey County All-Star Band and the Monterey County High School Vocal Honor Ensemble will also perform at Jazz on the Plazz in Los Gatos on Wednesday, August 17, from 6:30 to 8:30pm! Don’t miss these Bay Area concerts!
