The 5th Annual Jazz Legends
Gala will
honor legendary jazz drummer, composer, and 2012
NEA Jazz Master, Jack DeJohnette,
at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa in
Monterey on September 20, 2012. The evening includes
a cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, silent auction
and entertainment from Monterey Jazz Festival's Artist-In-Residence, Ambrose
Akinmusire and his Quintet. Hosting the
Jazz Legends Gala is Monterey Jazz Festival Board
Director, Clint Eastwood and his
wife Dina.

on-site at the Monterey County Fairgrounds off
Garden Road, close to the Gate 3! One parking
ticket will be issued for each vehicle for each day
purchased and includes one space for the day with
in/out parking privileges. Limited availability.

for their seventh year! You’ll find North Coast
beers–Scrimshaw Pilsner, Red Seal Ale, and
Brother Thelonious–at all Festival bars, and
cool Brother Thelonious gear at the North Coast Brewing
Company booth on the Midway. The brewery makes a
donation to the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz
for every glass of Brother Thelonious sold. |

Day Presented by Jelly Belly at
the 55th Monterey Jazz Festival! Bring the whole
family to enjoy the Instrument Petting
Zoo, where kids can play real instruments,
the Percussion Playshop, where
kids play percussion and lead a percussion parade,
the Jazzy Jumper, (a bouncy
castle for the younger set), and special performances
by the Banana
Slug String Band in the Coffee
House, Mo'Fone on
the West Lawn, plus the Country's
best young jazz musicians selected
at the our Next Generation Jazz Festival!
The four-ticket Family
Discount Package includes two Adult and two
Youth (Ages 2 - 18) Grounds Stage Tickets to the
2012 Monterey Jazz Festival! Families have access
to seven general admission Grounds Stages
and all Grounds activities. Grounds Stage
Tickets include access to the Jazz Theater
